Experience

Stella Pratt is a member of the mass tort team at Brockstedt Mandalas Federico, where she represents plaintiffs in complex mass torts and high-impact public entity litigation, including cases involving environmental contamination, childhood sexual abuse, and harmful corporate practices affecting public health and safety. Her work includes advocating on behalf of individuals and public entities against companies that have caused widespread harm through negligent or predatory conduct.

Public Entity Litigation

  • Representation of more than 85 school districts in litigation seeking to hold social media companies responsible for the student mental health crisis caused by social media addiction. In re: Social Media Adolescent Addiction/Personal Injury Products Liability Litigation (MDL No. 3047).
  • Is currently investigating potential claims against the manufacturers and pharmacy benefit managers nationwide who have wrongfully increased the price of insulin to the detriment of government and public entities. In re: Insulin Pricing Litigation (MDL No. 3080).

Environmental Litigation

  • Ongoing representation of residents in Elkton, Maryland impacted by PFAS exposure.
  • Ongoing representation of residents in Salisbury, Maryland impacted by PFAS exposure.

Stella received her bachelor’s degree in Economics and English from Allegheny College and her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law. While in law school, Stella was a member of Villanova’s Jeffrey S. Moorad Sports Law Journal and competed twice at Tulane Law School’s International Baseball Arbitration Competition, winning the Best Written Advocacy Award and finishing as a quarterfinalist both years. She also interned at the United States Attorney’s Office in Philadelphia.

In her spare time, Stella enjoys traveling, working out, and reading. She is also a huge Pittsburgh sports fan.
