Philip Federico, a leading attorney in the fight for child sex abuse survivors, was recently quoted in The Baltimore Sun discussing the significant impact of Maryland’s new legislation imposing caps on the compensation victims can receive.
“These cases, in the future, are not going to be worthwhile pursuing, either for the lawyer or the survivor,” said Federico, who represents survivors in cases against the archdiocese of Baltimore and other institutions.
