This upcoming Friday, May 31, is a crucial deadline for any survivor of sexual abuse who wants to seek justice against the Archdiocese of Baltimore for what they endured. BMBF partner Phil Federico spoke with The Baltimore Sun about the importance of reaching survivors as the deadline to file claims against the Archdiocese of Baltimore approaches.
Phil noted his concern about the countless survivors who may not be reached in time, explaining that “There’s no database of survivors of sexual abuse by members of the Archdiocese of Baltimore’s clergy.” The BMBF team is dedicated to continuing outreach until the deadline closes to ensure as many survivors as possible have their chance to hold the Church accountable.
