BMF attorney Shelby Bingaman has been named to the Delaware Business Times Class of 2026 Top 40 Under 40. Now in its 13th year, the DBT40 program recognizes the state’s top young professionals across the for-profit and nonprofit sectors for their accomplishments both in and out of the office. This year’s class was selected from a record applicant pool of 136 submissions, with only 29 percent of applicants earning a spot.
Shelby is an attorney in BMF’s Estates and Trusts practice group, where she focuses on client-centered estate planning tailored to individual, family, and business needs. Her practice spans estate planning, estate and trust administration, guardianships, fiduciary litigation, elder law, long-term care planning, and charitable planning. She works with a wide range of clients, from young families just beginning to plan for the future to high-net-worth individuals navigating complex multi-generational strategies, bringing both rigorous legal thinking and genuine personal investment to every matter.
Since joining BMF, Shelby has built a substantive and varied practice that reflects her adaptability and commitment to growing as an attorney. She was recently recognized by the 2026 Pennsylvania Legal Awards with the Lawyers on the Fast Track Award. She is also an active member of the Delaware State Bar Association’s Estates and Trusts, Elder Law, and Young Attorneys Sections, where she supports fellow young practitioners navigating the profession.
