On June 15, 2026, BMF Partners Tim Fisher and Tara Clary obtained a verdict of $825,000 in Montgomery County following a medical malpractice trial before the Honorable Kevin G. Hessler. The case involved obstetrician Ashleigh Bouchelion, M.D. of Capital Women’s Care, whose negligence during a repeat caesarean delivery resulted in serious and permanent complications for the delivering mother.
As a result of Dr. Bouchelion’s actions, the plaintiff required additional medical and surgical treatment and is experiencing lasting urologic issues that affect her quality of life.
After hearing the evidence, the jury returned a verdict in favor of the plaintiff and awarded $825,000 in damages, holding the defendant accountable for the harm caused during the delivery.
