Perdue AgriBusiness has contaminated Salisbury’s water with dangerous levels of PFAS — toxic “forever chemicals” linked to cancer, liver disease, and other serious health issues. For families like Rick Wawrzeniak’s, unexplained medical problems, contaminated wells, and mounting fear have upended daily life.
“I would like to have this put behind us and to be able to resume normal living without having to worry about if my water’s tainted, are people not going to want to buy my house if the water’s tainted, and are my kids okay,” Rick said. “I would hate for it to ruin the community.”
We represent Rick and more than 400 Salisbury residents in a class action lawsuit and will continue to work to hold Perdue accountable for the harm caused.
