Brockstedt Mandalas Federico Partner Philip Federico has been re-selected as a member in The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100 Civil Plaintiff Lawyers in Maryland for the 2026–2027 term. This marks Phil’s fourteenth consecutive year of recognition, having been named to the list each year since 2013.
The National Trial Lawyers is an invitation-only organization that recognizes premier trial lawyers across the country. It serves as a source of information, education, and networking for the most accomplished trial attorneys in the United States.
As leader of the firm’s Mass Tort, Class Action, and Environmental Law practices, Phil has spent nearly four decades representing individuals, communities, and governmental entities in high-stakes litigation. He began his career in medical malpractice and has gone on to help lead landmark mass tort and environmental cases. In recent years, he and his team have focused on environmental litigation involving PFAS-contaminated groundwater and air pollution, working to protect communities throughout Maryland.
